olegus-kit -- Privacy Policy
6 September 2026
olegus-kit is a private tool. It is not offered to the public and
has no users beyond the household that runs it. Each person runs
their own copy under their own account on their own machine, and
connects only accounts of their own.
What it reads
Through Instagram's official API, and only after the account
holder has said yes at Instagram's own consent screen: the account's
profile, its posts and the comments under them, the insights
Instagram reports on both, and the direct messages sent to and from
the account.
Through Google's official APIs, and only after the account holder
has said yes at Google's own consent screen: the calendars and
events of their Google Calendar, the files of their Google Drive,
and the Google Sheets and Google Docs they name. Mail is read over
IMAP with a password the account holder issues, not through this
app.
What it does with it
Shows it to the account holder, and acts on what they ask for --
publishing a post, answering a comment, replying to a message,
adding a calendar event, writing a document. Nothing is sold, shared
or handed to anyone else, and nothing is used for advertising,
profiling or training a model.
Where it is kept
On the account holder's own machine, readable by them alone. The
access tokens live there and nowhere else. There is no server
holding a copy, and no other person's account can read it.
How long, and how to have it removed
Until the account holder deletes it. Revoking the app ends its
access at once and the stored token with it: in Instagram under
Settings and then Apps and websites, in Google under Data and
privacy and then Third-party apps and services. Nobody else has an
account here, and there is no one else to ask.
